Anise Crisps

2 Egg Whites
1 Egg
1 c. Flour
1 tsp. Ground Anise
Beat together for 10 minutes the sugar, egg whites and whole egg.
Gradually beat in the flour and anise.
Spoon into a greased loaf pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes at 350°F. until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in middle of loaf.
Remove from pan.
Using a serrated knife cut into 1/2″ slices.
Place slices on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake an additional 5 minutes.
Turn slices over and bake another 5 minutes.
