Apple Pudding Cake

1/2 c. Butter
1/4 c. Granulated Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 c. Flour
1 Egg
1-3 oz. Box Vanilla Pudding Mix, cooked type not instant
1 1/2 c. Milk
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp. Lemon Zest
1-21 oz. Can Apple Pie Filling

In mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar.
Add the cinnamon and flour.
Divide dough in half.
Press half into a greased 8″ x 8″ baking dish.
Add egg to the second half of dough.
Prepare the pudding according to the package directions using the 1 1/2 cup milk.
Pour half of pudding over dough in pan.
In another bowl combine lemon juice, lemon zest and pie filling.
Spread apple mixture over pudding layer.
Cover apples with other half of pudding.
Sprinkle remaining dough, with the egg added, over top.
Bake 35-40 minutes at 350°F.
Let cool before cutting.
