1 c. Brown Sugar
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Pinch of Cloves
Pinch of Salt
2/3 c. Pecans Pieces
1/3 c. Bourbon
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Doz. Apples, washed and cored
In a saucepan combine the brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
Simmer 3 minutes.
Add pecans, bourbon, vanilla and butter.
Stir until butter is melted.
Place apples in a baking dish.
Fill cored apples with nut mixture.
Pour remaining liquid over top of apples.
Bake 50-60 minutes at 350°F.
Spooning glaze over apples every 20 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
