Butterscotch Brownies

2 c. Brown Sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 c. Pecans, chopped
Place sugar and butter in a saucepan and place over low heat until butter is melted.
Pour into a bowl and let cool slightly.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Fold in nuts.
Spread into a greased 7″ x 11″.
Bake 30 minutes at 350°F.
Let cool.
Cut into bars.
