Chocolate Almond Tarts

1 1/3 c. Flour
1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1/3 c. Butter, softened
1 Egg
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and beat on low speed until mixture is crumbly.
Divide dough and roll into 24 1″ balls.
Press dough into bottom and up sides of mini muffin pans.
Fill each shell 3/4 full with filling.
Bake 25-30 minutes at 350°F.
Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
Filling:
3/4 c. Brown Sugar
1/2 c. Almonds, chopped
1/3 c. Mini Chocolate Chips
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. Butter, melted
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
In mixing bowl stir together all ingredients for filling.
