
Crust:
1/2 c. Butter or Margarine, softened
1 c. Flour
1/4 c. Powdered Sugar
Combine ingredients in bowl and mix well with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Press dough into 9″ x 13″ pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350°F.
Top with filling below.
Filling:
1 c. Brown Sugar, packed
2 Eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 c. Coconut
1/2 c. Walnuts, chopped
Mix all ingredients in large bowl and pour over top of crust.
Bake an additional 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
While still warm spread glaze over top.
Cool, and cut into bars.
Glaze:
1/4 c. Orange Juice
2 tsp. Orange Rind, grated
1-2 c. Powdered Sugar
Combine orange juice and orange rind in bowl.
Stir in enough powdered sugar to make a stiff yet spreadable glaze.
