German Chocolate Pie

Filling:
4 oz. German Sweet Chocolate
1-13oz. Can Evaporated Milk
3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
2 Eggs
1 1/3 c. Angel Flake Coconut
1/4 c. Butter
1 1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 c. Pecan Pieces
Melt together chocolate and butter over low heat.
Remove from heat, gradually blend in milk, set aside.
Mix together sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Gradually blend in chocolate mixture.
Pour into pie shell.
Sprinkle coconut and nuts over top of filling.
Bake 45-50 minutes at 375° F.
Filling will be soft but will set up while cooling.
Cool at least 4 hours before slicing
