German Sugar Cookies

1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1 Egg Yolk
2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
48 Pecan Halves for Garnish
Cream together butter, and sugars.
Add egg yolk.
Gradually add flour and vanilla.
Roll a teaspoonful of dough at a time into a ball and flatten with the bottom of a drinking glass that has been dipped in granulated sugar.
Place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Place a pecan in center of each cookie.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F.
