
Base:
1 Egg
1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/3 c. Milk
1/3 c. Butter, melted
1 Tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
Beat together egg and sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in baking powder and salt alternately with milk and melted butter.
Stir in cocoa and vanilla.
Spoon into greased 8″ square pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 400°F.
Spread topping over top of warm cake.
Sprinkle with coconut.
Let cool then cut into bars.
Topping:
1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
1/4 c. Butter
1/4 c. Hot Strong Coffee
1 Tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/3 c. Coconut
Stir together sugar, butter, coffee, cocoa and vanilla.
