1 c. Butter
1 1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
2 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
3 c. Flour
2 tsp. Soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1 Tbsp. Orange Zest, finely grated

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and corn syrup.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Shape into two 8″ long logs.
Wrap in plastic wrap.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Cut into 1/8″ thick slices.
Place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake 6-8 minutes at 400°F.
