Pear Bread

3 Eggs
1 c. Oil
1 1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Grated Orange Peel
3 c. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Soda
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
3 Ripe Pears, peeled and diced
3/4 c. Pecans or Walnuts, chopped
Combine eggs and oil.
Add sugar, vanilla and orange peel.
Mix in flour, salt, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Fold in pears and chopped nuts.
Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake 50-60 minutes at 325°F.
