Pumpkin Date Nut Bread

1 1/3 c. Granulated Sugar
1 c. Brown Sugar
2/3 c. Butter or Margarine, softened
4 Eggs
2 c. Pumpkin
1/3 c. Water
1/3 c. Apple Juice
3 1/2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Soda
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Allspice
1/4 tsp. Cloves
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 lb. Dates, chopped
1 c. Walnuts, chopped

Cream together sugar, brown sugar and butter.
Add eggs, mix well.
Mix in pumpkin, water and apple juice.
Stir in flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices, stirring just until moistened.
Fold in dates and nuts.
Pour batter into 2 large greaed loaf pans.
Bake 60 – 90 minutes at 350°F.
