Rolled Sour Cream Cookies

2 c. Granulated Sugar
1 c. Sour Cream, do not use low-fat or fat free sour cream
3 Eggs
1/2 c. Butter, softened
1/2 c. Shortening
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Almond Extract
5 1/2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt

In mixing bowl cream together sugar,
sour cream, eggs, butter, shortening, vanilla and almond extract.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Beat on low until soft dough forms.
Cover and refrigerate until firm, 1-2 hours.
On well floured surface roll dough to 1/4″ thickness.
Cut into shapes and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Decorate with colored sugar sprinkles before baking or frost cookies after baking.
Bake 6-8 minutes at 350°F.
