Slice & Bake Cookies

1 c. Granulated Sugar
1 c. Brown Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 c. Flour
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 c. Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Mix in chopped nuts.
Shape dough into two 6″ long rolls.
Wrap each roll in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Slice cookie dough into 1/8″ thick slices.
Place slices on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake 7-10 minutes at 350°F until golden brown.
