Wild Rice Cake

2 c. Brown Sugar 1/2 c. Butter, softened 2 Eggs 1 tsp. Maple Flavoring 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 1 c. Buttermilk, divided 2 c. Cake Flour 1 tsp. Soda 1/2 tsp. Salt 2 c. Wild Rice, cooked 1/2 c. Walnuts or Pecans,chopped Caramel Sauce In mixing bowl cream sugar, butter and eggs. Add maple flavoring and vanilla. Beat in half of buttermilk. In separate bowl combine flour, soda and salt.
